A Marvelous Work and A Wonder
August 27, 2017 This is the day our wonderful sons, Nathan and Matthew, were born 26 years ago. We woke up this morning and our first thoughts were of them. Happy Birthday, Buds! We got an early start so we could make the short walk from our hotel down to Niagra Falls before the crowds arrived. We were not disappointed in our plan as there were not any lines or crowds at the park when we arrived there. We also could not have asked for a more beautiful morning to view the falls. The weather and temperature conditions were about as perfect as we could ever have hoped for. We walked right through the ticket gate without a person in front of us, and we proceeded down unimpeded to board the Maid of the Mist boat for a ride around the river below the falls. The boat is aptly named as it travels right through the misty area (more like really big water droplets) at the base of the falls.
